Very nice park. Well tended grass & mature trees. Some privacy with natural growth between sites. There are no pull-throughs, but they have several "pull-out" campsites if you don't want to unhook a towed vehicle. Be advised the electrical in these pull-outs may require a pretty long cord (mine is 30 feet and just reached). I don't believe there are any full hook-ups, just electric & water. The dump station is a well designed. There are nice little touches in the camps, it's obvious they work hard to keep the park in good shape. The night we stayed was very quiet. Thanks for a nice stay!

One of our favorites state parks on this 5 year journey RV’ing the US. Very clean park. Check-in was smooth and staff was friendly. Campground includes boat ramp, tent camping, cabins, kids playground and dedicated swimming area off the lake. Our campsite was level and site clean. Verizon phones got weak 4g. DirecTV (free standing satellite) had no issue getting signal. Campground is about 10mins from freeway (i90) and 30mins from a decent grocery store. Our only issue is the late checkout time, which is 4pm… so don’t arrive too early. Reservations available online for this state park. While at this campground we visited Falls Park in Sioux Falls and the Corn Palace (disappointment).

Three stars because while it's a nice quiet place the sites have limited privacy and power boats are noisy. Otherwise it's a good camping place. Makes a nice overnight stop on a road trip.

Not a huge area but lovely none the less. The campgrounds were level, the place was dog friendly including a short hike (a mile or so) with nice views. They have nice showers but only one per bathroom plus the family bathrooms (so 4 all together).

Pros-quite campsite(tent site three), nice size spot, fire pit and picnic table. Very wooded area. Cons-NO electricity anywhere, not even in the bathroom. The bathroom is a glorified porta pottie with one tiny solar light and NO running water. For water there's a drinking fountain outside the bathroom and a water spicket(cold) about a foot off the ground to fill a bucket. A thing that turned me off upon first arriving was having to carry our gear from the parking area to the tenting area. About 150 yards. Oh yeah, it's 20 miles to the water park or 25 to Sioux Falls.

Our family is currently traveling this beautiful country via RV style, and have been RV'ing for many years. Therefore, we have an idea between high-standard qualities and poor quality.
